It all starts in conversation with others, talking about stuff in general. Then something like global warming, or those record breaking profit statements from the petroleum companies yanks the strings of your conscience. Soon, talk of bio-diesel or using grease for fuel or other alternative sets it's hook in your imagination. Then it is a matter of how deep the hook is set. Then you realize, "I can do something about this". There are Lots of Options you have besides getting stuck in the Petroleum user loop. This site concentrates on waste fryer oil used as a primary fuel source for a diesel vehicle. After you are hooked - if the interest is strong enough your research begins. The Internet was my #1 source for researching, but finding a local person you could see, and talk with is the biggest positive factor in making something actually happen. Just take a ride in a Grease4Fuel rig and you'll want one of your own. Here is a real life Scenerio. I made my first step - find a Diesel car and began using Bio-Diesel. Continuing the adventure, I eventually purchased a WVO (waste veggie oil), kit and had my son install it for me. You can read the story that is on my Grease-4-Fuel page.
